Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Chapter 1: Goldilocks and the Mysterious Bird
Once upon a time, a girl named Goldilocks lived at the edge of a large, dark forest. Her golden hair glistened in the sunlight, earning her the name “Goldilocks.” One sunny morning, as she wandered near the forest, a brightly colored bird fluttered in front of her and then darted into the trees. Intrigued, Goldilocks decided to follow the bird, forgetting her mother’s warning never to wander into the forest alone.
As she ventured deeper into the woods, the trees grew taller and the path less clear. The bird flew quickly, weaving through the branches, and soon it was out of sight. Goldilocks looked around and realized she had lost her way. She saw a quaint little house in the distance and wondered who might live there.
Chapter 2: Discovering the Bears' House
Goldilocks approached the house and knocked on the door, hoping someone would answer. There was no reply, so she knocked again, and still, no one came to the door. Curiosity got the better of her, and she decided to open the door and step inside. The house was quiet and empty, but a delicious smell wafted from the kitchen.
In the kitchen, Goldilocks saw three bowls of steaming oatmeal on the table. Her stomach rumbled as she realized how hungry she was. She tasted the oatmeal from the first bowl but found it too hot. She tried the second bowl and found it too cold. Finally, she tasted the third bowl, which was just right, and she ate it all up, feeling quite satisfied.
Chapter 3: The Chairs and the Beds
After enjoying the oatmeal, Goldilocks felt a bit tired and decided to find a place to rest. In the living room, she saw three chairs of different sizes. She tried the first chair, which was large and hard. “Too hard!” she said, moving to the next one. The second chair was medium-sized and very soft. “Too soft!” she said, moving to the last chair.
The third chair was small and seemed just right. Goldilocks settled into it, but when she leaned back, the chair broke into pieces, causing her to tumble to the floor. “Oh no!” she exclaimed, feeling a bit embarrassed. She noticed a ladder leading to the attic and decided to climb up, hoping to find a cozy place to nap.
In the attic, Goldilocks found three beds, each one different from the others. She tried the first bed, which was big and hard. “Too hard!” she said. She then tried the second bed, which was medium-sized and too soft. “Too soft!” she said, finally lying down on the smallest bed. It was just right, and before she knew it, she fell asleep.
Chapter 4: The Bears Return
The three bears, who lived in the house, came home from their walk, excited to enjoy their breakfast. They immediately noticed something was amiss. “Someone’s been eating my oatmeal!” said Papa Bear. “Someone’s been eating my oatmeal, too!” said Mama Bear. “Someone’s been eating my oatmeal and it’s all gone!” cried Baby Bear.
The bears then checked the living room. “Someone’s been sitting in my chair,” said Papa Bear, noticing the disarray. “I can see someone was sitting in my chair,” said Mama Bear, seeing the cushion pushed down. “Someone’s been sitting in my chair, and it’s broken!” exclaimed Baby Bear.
They climbed the ladder to the attic, where they saw their beds. “Someone’s been sleeping in my bed,” said Papa Bear, noticing the blanket was moved. “Someone’s been sleeping in my bed, too,” said Mama Bear. Baby Bear looked at his bed and exclaimed, “Someone’s been sleeping in my bed, and she’s still here!”
Goldilocks woke up to see the three bears standing around her bed. Startled and scared, she jumped out of bed and ran down the ladder. Little Bear chased after her, calling, “Wait, please!” Goldilocks stopped and turned to face him, apologizing for her intrusion and explaining she didn’t think about the consequences. The bears forgave her, and Goldilocks promised to be more careful in the future. They all became friends and enjoyed many happy times together.
The end.
